Chemical Peel Consultation
During the initial consultation I will discuss treatment protocols, analyze the skin to find the best treatment plan, recommend/order a daily skincare regimen for specific skin concerns, & set your first appointment! A vital part of achieving success with chemical peels starts at home with the client using professional skincare products. A good rule to follow is the 70/30 rule: Focus 70% on daily skincare at home & the other 30% for in-office treatments. It is recommended to start professional skincare regimen 10-14 days prior to treatment in order to prepare the skin, allow for better treatment results, and reduce risk of complications.
Chemical Peels
Process of removing surface proteins to initiate an injury response in the skin— what is referred to as a “controlled wound.” Chemical peels are an advanced treatment that aims to accelerate the natural 28 day cell turnover process (skin exfoliation) with the use of chemical substances to improve a variety of specific skin concerns + conditions such as aging, acne, & pigmented skin. Peels should be completed in a series of 3 or 6 peels, allowing 3-4 weeks between each treatment to ensure proper healing & collagen production of the skin for best results. **First time chemical peels clients must book a consultation**
